The Endellion String Quartet have commissioned Roxanna to write music to go alongside new poems by Wendy Cope about characters you'd find in a typical concert audience. With The Traditionalist, The Radical, The Cougher and The Drinker there will be something for (or about!) everybody. World Orchestra for Peace has commissioned Roxanna to adapt her interfaith violin concerto “Abraham” into a shorter orchestral prelude entitled “Three Paths to Peace”. Valery Gergiev will be conducting the world premiere in Jerusalem on 19th October 2008. WOP was founded in 1995 by Sir Georg Solti to reaffirm, in his words, 'the unique strength of music as an ambassador for peace'. Its players come from orchestras all over the world, from Tiblisi to Texas - many of them concert masters and section leaders in their own right
London Oratory School's fabulous choir "Schola" are in the process of making two CDs entirely of Roxanna's choral music. The first one which contains the chamber version of Westminster Mass (with organ, bells and 1 harp) and previously unrecorded works for upper voices (Ave Maria, The Spirit of the Saints) as well as some SATB pieces (including a new arrangement of Sleep, little Jesus, Sleep with organ and harp accompaniment) will be released in late Spring 2009.
